Luckily, two companies like Nokia and Ericsson both provide us the application development emulator system for Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) currently, such as Nokia 7110 WAP Toolkits and Ericsson EPOC Emulator for R380. These emulator systems have made our application developers no need to install programs in the real device to test and debug.
The goal of this paper is to provide the programmers the iSMS Application Development Environment to develop SMS application no matter for Mobile Phone and PDA. The iSMS Application Development Environment can make the same efficiency as the WAP application development emulator system.
