Summary: | 碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 電信工程系 === 90 === A new configuration of the balanced self-oscillating mixer with integrated antenna is proposed and demonstrated at 5.9 GHz. The structure is mainly composed of a IF feed network and two loop oscillators using two amplifiers, a three-port 180° slot-coupled microstrip antenna, and a 3-db power divider. The two oscillator loops share a common segment, which provides a path for mutual injection between the oscillators, leading to the synchronization of the oscillation frequency and phase. The three-port antenna performs both the functions of radiation and wilkinson power division. It rejects the LO signals but lets going the RF signals. The measurement results show that the oscillation signals are mutually locked at the frequency of 5.73 GHz with a power level of 8 dBm. Also the results show that mixer performs like a single balanced mixer.
