In a well- designed program, participants would be fully developed physically and appropriately satisfied mentally. Nevertheless, the content of physical education was centered on acquisition and instruction of athletic skills, consequently, the evaluation of physical education was mainly focused on the mastery degree of skill manipulation. The evaluation is not the last goals of physical education. Through evaluation, the instructor can understand the learner’s initial status, learning progress, and learning difficulties, and can make necessary adjustment in teaching content and the whole program. In addition, the learners can also benefit by reading in advance and practicing, and can realize their own learning process and progress. Within this movement of educational reform, it is important for physical education professionals to face these challenges and to make some adjustment. The purpose of this study was to discuss the rationales and methods of integrating inter-net and multimedia into physical education evaluation. In this information and technology era, the evaluation of physical education should be reformed from traditional paper-pencil tests to another vivid evaluation style, which would be part of physical instruction and could provide instructors and students more positive information rather than passive scores.
