Summary:碩士 === 國立體育學院 === 體育研究所 === 90 === The purposes of this study were to investigate the current exercise behavior of the elementary school student’s mother, and to explore its relationship with demographic characteristics and perceptions of regular exercise behavior. The subjects used in this study were 691 elementary school student’s mothers of six large-scale school type in Chung-li city. The instruments administered to the subjects were Health Promotion Model Inventory, The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, chi-square, t-test (independent), and one-way ANOVA. The results of this study were as follows: 1. There was difference of perceived barriers of exercise. between students’ mothers with different social support. 2. There were difference of perceived benefits of exercise between students’ mothers with different social and economic status, exercise environment, and social support. 3. There were significant difference exercise environment, difference support of the society of perceived self-efficacy of exercise. 4. There was significant difference exercise environment of the emotional reaction of exercise. 5. There was significant difference amount of the children for commitment competing demands and preference. 6. The comparison of the different background children’s mother of different regular exercise behavior: There was significant difference support of the society of different regular exercise behavior. 7. The comparison of the different regular exercise behavior of children’s mother different recognition of exercise behavior: There was significant difference barriers of exercise, benefits of exercise, emotional reaction of exercise. 8. There was significant difference regular exercise behavior student’s mother of commitment competing demands and preference. The explanations of the findings were offered, and the applications of the study were discussed. Finally, some suggestions for future studies were provided.
