It can let the engineers quickly evaluate the spread of pollutants and then they can take necessary measures to control the oil leakage. The mathematical models for the diffusion of the pollutants are based on the convection flows of oils in porous media. First, the paper, three dimensional governing equations that account for the conservation of mass and momentum were derived for the convective flow from in a porous medium. The resulting governing equations were solved by the implicit finite difference method incorporated with the body-fitted coordinate transformation. Finally, interactive computer-aided design softwares were developed. The engineers can easily use this code to predict the pressure and velocity distribution in the soil at different times and locations when the petroleum leaks.
