Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 企業管理學系碩博士班 === 90 === Accompanying with Taiwan’s fast economic development, society’s getting pluralistic, non-profit organizations become more important in field of public service. However, it is a high subject how to get sufficient funding sources in order to accomplish social missions. This research takes “Tainan Blood Center“ as population to examine the motives of public donating and respective behavior patterns. The experimental result indicates the first reason a person contributes is out of charity. The second depends on performance of that nonprofit organization. The third is approval of that nonprofit organization’s religion and idea. The first reason why a person refuses to donate is “not knowing about that nonprofit organization”. The second is improper way of collecting. The third is the fear of being cheated. Gender and education degree also influence whether to donate or not. The public donates incidentally. The amount ranges from NTD 500 to NTD 1000. Income level has influence donator’s will substantially. Obviously, in order to accomplish humanitarian missions and to go on running, the nonprofit organizations have to design the most convenient way for people to contribute, to make the incidental donators become constant ones and the small-amount donators become the major ones. This research is valuable reference for non-profit organization’s professional fund-raising planning and practice.
