For the purpose, this study uses active server pages (ASP) to build a web-based ecological engineering information system. It has used both of database and geographical information architecture. The system offers functions that capable of letting personnel at certain managing level to process string, image, geographical data. Also it provides users at non- authorized level, such as an engineer on the internet, to browse and inquire at these databases. It is recognized that a practical database should be able to fulfill varying. The login reorganization mechanism designed in this system allows experts in different science branches putting their efforts to expand present database. It is foresee with the helping of these experts, the present ecological engineering database shall be more versatile and shall benefit more to the general internet users.
