Problems of environmental pollution in Taiwan is very critical,and it can influence on durability of concrete.In studies of durability,the internal and external scholars concentrate in the study of carbonation of concrete in recent years,and they use the method of diffusion to accelerate mostly.Howeve,this study attempt to use soak method to speed up carbonation and imitat water pollution to get the long run result of carbonation in a short-term and assess the relationship between acceleration of diffusion and soak in carbonate solution osmotic action further.
In this study,we made NWC(Normal Weight Concrete)ψ5.5×12cm,and varied water-cement ratios,curing condition,temperature and perform dry-wet circulation during eight weeks.
The accelerating terms are as follows:
1.Soaked in carbonated water.
2.Soaked in saturated solution of sodium bicarbonate.
3.Diffusin of carbon dioxide accelerated, .
In each cycle, we investigated the mass change , strength change with UST ,cleavage strength of cement and micro structure change with SEM.
The test results are as follows:
1.In the same accelerated times,the carbonation depths of carbon dioxide accelerated were maximum,soaked in saturated solution of sodium bicarbonation were next,and soaked in carbonated water were minimum.
2.In UST,we can see both two methods had an inverce ratio between carbonation rate and speed of ultra sonic.
3.We can see both two methods had an inverce ratio between carbonation rate and cleavage strength.
