Variation of the two mentioned factors will result in a dynamic structure change of sandbar. Over the years, the studies, which were aimed at the observation of the riverbed and flushing research of Choshuichi basin, had been very successful, but there was few study concerned the total sediment yield. This study, with small scale and on a long-term basis, is designed to get the relationship between the observed data of Suspended-load of Choshuichi watershed in recent years and the topography change of Waisandingzou sandbar So as we can comprehend the change of stream condition and influence of that on sandbar. Most of sand source of Waisandingzou sandbar comes from Choshuichi watershed in early stage. The sediment accumulated gradually into a sandbar at the southern shallow estuary due to the influence of northeastern monsoon, littoral current and wave carrying effect. The sand resource lacking happened immediately ever since the Choshuichi watershed had been renovated. The result of Investigate to reveal: 1.The change of suspended load sediment discharge of Choshuichi watershed in recent years probably has an effect on the area change of Waisandingzou Sandbar in eight years. The observed suspended load data of the station nearest to the estuary has an intimate relation to the change of area and location of Waisandingzou sandbar. The further the station from the estuary, the less the relation. 2. By the measurement of sand mining over the years and the fact that the sand mining had been reduced since 1993, we could see that the area of Waisandingzou sandbar showed a increasing tendency in 1997.
