With the development of soil models, the stress-strain procedure has been used in the stability analysis of soil slopes for many years. But its application for obtaining the safety factors of soil slopes seems not to have received wide attention. In this paper, the finite element method is used with suitable consideration in the effects of pore pressure and seepage, and with the provision of a special scheme to search for the critical slip surface to perform the effective-stress stability analysis of soil slopes and earth dams. Typical examples of soil slopes and real case of earth dam are used to illustrate the proposed procedure. The results of the proposed method are also compared with those from the Bishop’s Simplified Method. Tien-kuen Huang 黃添坤 2002 學位論文 ; thesis 142 zh-TW |
