| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 土木工程學系 === 90 === In recent years, due to the high technology’s computer technique are extensively used in military and coming of new military weapons revolution. It makes a great change on the pattern and environment of modern and future war. The traditional military surveying product is such as paper map that can’t be suitable for the demand of modern and future war. Therefore we should make some new proposals for military surveying services. So, in the past few years, many countries have devoted a lot of labor and thing to construct and improve their military surveying database, and equip many digital surveying products(such as Vector Product Format). For example, U.S. Army have already produced and equipped with many digital surveying products, including of DCW, DFAD, and DMMS etc. It has formed multi-kinds, and multi-scales to satisfy the need of digital the series of surveying products in every military department. Nowadays, the traditional paper map is gradually replaced by many kinds of electric map and digital map data. This paper is going to introduce how to use the theory and method of producing, and the renewing U.S. military standard map database for Taiwan military Forces.
