| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立政治大學 === 社會學系 === 90 === This Research follows the development of social context, choose “medical” for the main reflective object, attempt to find out how medical change our cognition and feeling of death . The subject of this thesis will be analyzed surround two topics:
1.Medical intervention:
To analyze the character of medical, which affect many aspect of our life, especially interfere into the process of dying and death, lead the features of the time and space of death. In Addition, we’ll discuss how the dying people be limited and separated from the medical system , which consequence will be brought about.
2.Hospice care:
With the dying process inevitably be extended, reflecting the act of normal medical , on the one hand, providing the possible improvement for medical act, through that , try to change the situation which modern Death and Dying face with, on the other hand, helping the patients and their relatives and friends confronting the increasingly extended dying process , let death return the former peaceful and natural looks .
Besides, except medical, how terminal patients make use of changing attitude to confronting death positively? And caring the dying patients would get what enlightenment? All sorts of subject that the modern society should face with , is this thesis try to explore .
