The structure of the mobile is more and more complex. In addition to well-known engines, gearboxes and other components, the oil cleaner is impersonating an important role. The oil cleaner is located between the fuel pump and the spray nozzle, it prevents the pollutants in the oil box into the spray nozzle and the firebox, so the oil cleaner of vehicle in the spray system is very important. If the spin-weld process is not done well, it will make the oil escape and endanger the drivers’ life and safety. In this thesis, applying the Taguchi Quality Engineering Theory to the spin-weld process of the oil cleaner of vehicle. In the analysis, making use of the Orthogonal Array to probe into the relationship between the operation conditions of spin-weld and the nonconforming phenomenon. According to the result of the S/N Ratio, we can bring up an integrated suggestion and make the standard of the operational conditions of the process. Finally, we will use Excel VBA programming language to develop the software of Design of Experiments and Taguchi Quality Engineering, and using it in this experiment. We hope that we can use the software to find the optimal parameters for the robust process. This software could save analytic time and cost, use friendly and practically, and raise the quality of the process in the production.
