Especially for the Virtual Resource, the recognition and appreciation of it challenges the traditional business strategy that comes from limited region or contingency relation. In the academic world, such a global and systematic view becomes a focus. This research is based on the Configuration Theory that emphasizes on the Gestalt Typology and Functional Coherency. We reviewed the textiles and clothing industry, which is one of the traditional industries of Taiwan. By field survey and qualitative exploration, this research observed and recorded the network technology and administration mechanisms of such industry. Based on the study of this information, we conclude its configuration styles, fitting, and the contents of administration. As a result, this research concludes Simple, Agent, and Marketplace as the three configuration styles that exist in the textile and clothing industry of Taiwan. In order to optimize administrative efficiency, these styles apply different network technologies, which cause apparent varieties in their enterprise network and network technology. Consequently, under the guidance of Internet technology, the key configuration styles will move toward Simple and Marketplace. While Taiwan has gradually losing the advantages from manpower, the industrial resources accumulated in the past show that Marketplace is a better configuration style for the future development of the textiles and clothing industry in Taiwan. The result of this research alters the traditional view and business transforming strategy to the textiles and clothing industry of Taiwan. Under the impacts of rapid growing network technology, the conclusions of this research on industry strategy can provide decision-making suggestions to the future enterprise.
