碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 織品服裝學系 === 90 === China is famous for a state of ceremonies and dressing since long time ago. “Full attire with crown” is the noblest one in the history of Chinese dress. Of which outer style and inner content are both destined to traditional thought of philosophy. It makes people esteem entiquette, respect righteous and perform humanity, furthermore, reach place where heaven and man are one. Due to my teacher, Professor Wang, Yue-Chin, kept researching at this area for several ten-years, I am trying to explore the relationship between outside rule and inside culture of “full attire with crown” by analysis of philosophy. The culture heritage of “full attire with crown” is so tight with Confucianism thought that the dress system is able to achieve the final goal “man is heaven” together with Confucianism by developing entiquette, righteous and humanity. Conclusively, the tradition and evolution of “full attire with crown” are constantly developed on one line either at outside shape, colour, figure and attire or at inside Confucianism contents. They show the wisdom of Chinese ancestors in idea of “representing virtue by making all matters”. From the final conclusion of this research, I hope everybody to use knowledge, culture and tradition well in making society much brighter than ever before.
