Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 環境工程與科學所 === 90 === Acoustic agglomeration is an interesting phenomenon that the particles suspended in a tube bumped together by the action of high-intense-sound waves, observed by the researchers in the third decade of 20th Century. After that, more and more scholars plunged into the field, following up researches concerning relationships between particles and sound interactions between particles in a sound field, tried to find out the theories that can be used to explain and describe the acoustic agglomeration phenomenon.
It is difficult to remove particles of diameter between 0.1 to 1μm by conventional air pollution filters. Unfortunately, these fine particles can penetrate deeply in the respiratory system of human body, and cause damages to health. It is said in documents that, there are no restrictions in acoustic agglomeration where electrical, temperature or explosive characteristics of the aerosol could be troublesome. Acoustic agglomeration could be applied in preconditioning the flue gas in which micro or submicron particles got together to form bigger particles, thus enhance the efficiency of the following filter unit.
The subject of this study is to summarize and classify the reference of the developments and phylogeny of acoustic agglomeration, the reasoning of basic theories, the applications of fine particles, the evaluations of operating factors and several characteristics researches in this domain. Then analyzing and comparing were made to put over the outlooks and suggestions of the future works.
The results provide important basic information in improving the understanding of acoustic agglomeration, which also act as references and gist of basic study and applications in the future.
