Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 電機工程所 === 90 === Abstract This thesis is concerned primarily with the implementation of a small, low-speed permanent magnet wind generator. First, the basic theory of wind power was introduced. Then, in order to avoid the complex design procedures, an interactive design software for permanent magnet generator was developed. With this tool, a propotype was designed and the open circuit voltage, load characteristic and voltage regulation at various speed can be obtained using the commerical finite element package, Flux2D. The most serious problem with a small wind generator is that its voltage varies greatly with changes in load. The capacitor compensation is the common method to reduce the voltage regulation. In this thesis, the Taugchi method is employed for optimizing design of the propotype and for reducing its voltage regulation.
