The major reason is that the cooperation between the industries and schools is lacking. The preferences of those biotechnology firms are also ignored. The government has announced to establish a biotechnology park recently, but a successful biotechnology park needs the participations from those firms. The purpose of this research was to study the reasons of the poor participations for those firms in government’s projects. A field survey was conducted to understand the satisfying and importance degrees of the biotechnology firms in Taiwan, and the causes of participating in government projects for those firms. The results of this study show that both biomedical (Chinese medicine, medical ersatz) and bioagriculture(healthy food) firms worry about the problems of flooding. According to the manpowers, the bioagricultural firms are difficult to recruit enough qualified technicians. The biomedical firms prefer the oversea experts than the bioagicultural firms. The infrastructures, especially the quality of water and electric power, are more emphasized by both biotech firms. The over priced lands are also problems for both firms. Waste disposal equipments, appropriate factories and specific laboratories are the special characteristics for both biomedical and bioagicultural firms. This study suggests that both government and private firms need to cooperate to make a successful biotechnology industry in Taiwan. none 鍾懿萍 2002 學位論文 ; thesis 174 zh-TW |
