Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 土地管理所 === 90 === Due to the effect of economies globalization, the industrial structure in Taiwan has changed from industry to service sector since 1995. The author using the point of agglomeration economies and the analyzing methods including descriptive statistics, index of concentration, index of dissimilarity and change examines the relationship between service industrial structure and spatial distribution within Taiwan area. The findings are as follows. The service industrial structure is changing from consumer to producer service in Taiwan and letting land use pattern changing too. Second, the spatial distribution of service sector is polarizing toward single-nucleus pattern. While the land use for producer and composite service industries increasing, the spatial distribution becomes decentralizing especially in Taipei City. Third, the consumer and producer service industries have more variances than the composite service industry in spatial distribution, while the producer service industry makes the most change in spatial distribution during 1981 to 1996.
