In the numerical model, the turbulence flow field and suspended solids concentration distribution are taken care by the Navier-Stokes equations and the suspended concentration equation. A large eddy simulation is applied to turbulence model. An explicit Adams-Bashforth scheme is adopted to solve the velocity field. The projection method is used to derive the pressure Poisson equation such that the equation of continuity satisfies automatically. We can find a recirculation region very close to the inlet in numerical simulation. It is well agreeable with the previous study.
