| Summary: | 碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 建築及都市設計研究所碩士班 === 90 === Speech Intelligibility on standard of evaluation for sound field has been studied for a long time, no matter using a public-address system or not in the auditorium, Its special characteristics will reduce the speech Intelligibility from the speakers. RASTI is a derived index for rapid measurements and often used of evaluation for sound field at present, and it have a good relationships with first language for American and European country. The purpose of this study is the relationship between Chinese standard articulation in Taiwan area and the RASTI value. The compounded vowels of the Chinese Syllable were applied to generalize 108 phonemics for constitution language the table in the articulation test, and review relationship with Chinese speech Intelligibility score and RASTI value that in order to built a evaluation standard of Chinese standard articulation in Taiwan of speech Intelligibility in sound field.
This research plans 8 sound field (back ground noise are all below NC-40) for direct and indirect measurement , there are four auditoriums、three gym and a open sound field and Volume of these halls under the study rage between 2000~129000 . Put the sound source in the central stage for Simulation of speech situation and direct measurement results are compared to Intelligibility evaluation via RASTI measurement in various sound field.
Although we can not adjust regulations between with direct measurement and indirect measurement result, gather the all the measurement of data in sound fields by analysis, The results show the better correlation between RASTI value and Intelligibility score ( = 0.90, = 0.82.). Thereby this Chinese standard articulation test table is a tool for subjective judgment of speech intelligibility examination. In the same time , we find a similar spread situation of a conversion function between RASTI－Intelligibility Score to Tisseyre(1998) and Houtgast and Steeneken(1973) and C.Diaz and Velazquez(1995).
