In the execution of Construction Management,starting from contract singing, the owner usually exercises his dominance cts in operation and management, and deficiencies of experience, knowledge and coordination on the part of the construction management personnel, the result of construction management generally proved to be unsatisfactorily.
This study will review defects in construction management from literature and incorporate examples and interviews from projects undertaking by China Engineering Consultants,Inc. By analyzing the reasons behind those defects, this study will proposed an improvement draft together with questionnaires for the CM experts’ examination and acceotance before a conclusion can be reached. The conclusion will provide orientations for CM professions’ reference.
