Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 應用數學研究所 === 90 === We study the pattern formation of the reaction-diffusion systems. First, we develop a special example of reaction-diffusion system. Then we review some theorems about local and global existence of the equations. We introduce a simple finite difference method to discretize the system. The Algorithm of the cyclic reduction will be reviewed and used to solve the resultant modified Helmholtz equations. Finally, numerical results of pattern formation based on our method will be shown.
