Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 90 === Underground cable manufacturing technology has been successfully developed for 3.3KV, 15KV, 25KV, 33KV, 69KV, 161KV, and 345KV levels. Owing to the excellent electrical and mechanical properties, good flexibility, good resistance to chemical and Ozone to offer to stability power quality, the insulation material for underground cables is the low-density solid dielectric material of cross-linked polyethylene. In general, electric stress is the most important factor the affects function of cable life. Usually, the high-voltage power cable life can last at least 30 years under normal electrical stress. However, if incorrect electrical stress control occurs, the life of high-voltage underground cable is rapidly decreased and may cause cable quality degraded. Therefore, controlling electrical stress distribution in underground cable is of great importance. This thesis intends to investigate the basics of using power cable super-clean insulation material and super-smooth semi-conductive layer for controlling electrical force of the cable to improve its insulation average electrical stress, in order to have a better understanding of characteristics of high-voltage underground cables.
