Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 資訊管理學系 === 90 === More and more business organizations are coming to view knowledge as their most valuable and strategic resource. They are realizing that to remain competitive they must explicitly manage their intellectual resources and capabilities. To this end, the primary focus of efforts has been on developing new applications of information technology to support knowledge management. However, effective knowledge management is not merely the concept of information technology. It must be connected to business strategy. The link between knowledge management and business strategy, while often talked about, has been widely ignored in practice. Past research discuss solely on the importance of business strategy to knowledge management. However, the process of implementing knowledge management based on business strategy perspectives is often incomplete and fragmented in past literature. Therefore, the objective of this study is to develop an integrated theoretical framework based on business strategy perspectives to implement knowledge management. Basically, the theoretical framework contains four steps: (1) business strategy, (2) knowledge strategy, (3) implementation of knowledge management, and (4) assessment of knowledge management performance. The related results from empirical data will be summarized to serve as a reference for practitioners. Empirical study indicates the framework is practicable and acceptable, and gives some suggestions: (1) If the business strategy is Prospector, the suitable knowledge strategy is Experimenter or Skill Acquire, and enterprise must emphasize on the investment in Codification and Personalization. (2) If the business strategy is Analyzer, the suitable knowledge strategy is Copier, and enterprise must emphasize on the investment in Codification. (3) If the business strategy is Defender, the suitable knowledge strategy is Expert, and enterprise must emphasize on the investment of Codification.
