(1) crystallizes in orthorhombic space group P212121 with a = 7.440(2)Å, b = 8.999(3) Å, c = 23.250(9) Å, V = 1556.6(9)Å3。(2) crystallizes in orthorhombic space group P212121 with a = 7.4210(10)Å, b = 8.9730(10) Å, c = 23.168(2) Å, V = 1542.7(3) Å3。(3) crystallizes in orthorhombic space group P21212 with a = 21.994(2) Å, b = 8.4910(10)Å, c = 11.728(2)Å, V = 2190.2(5)Å3。 (4) crystallizes in orthorhombic space group P21212 with a = 22.073(4)Å , b = 8.552(2)Å, c = 11.7823(14) Å, V = 2224.0(5)Å3。 (5) crystallizes in monoclinic space group P21 with a = 8.8911(13)Å, b = 18.3103(17) Å, c = 11.6928(16)Å, b = 101.182(11)º , V = 1867.4(4)Å3。(6) crystallizes in monoclinic space group P21 with a = 8.834(3)Å, b = 18.253(4) Å, c = 11.662(2)Å, b = 101.08(2)º , V = 1845.6(8)Å3。 (7) crystallizes in monoclinic space group P2 a = 11.956(4)Å, b = 5.6245(8) Å, c = 15.013(4)Å, b = 107.79(3)º, V = 961.3(4)Å3。 (8) crystallizes in monoclinic space group P2 a = 12.0110(2)Å,b = 5.66040(10) Å,c = 15.0355(3)Å,b = 107.7829(7)º,V =973.38(3)Å3。 The structure of (1,2) consists of two-dimensional layers built up by [Zn(4,4’-bipy)]2+ units bridged by malates. (3,4) is constructed by Zn and malates forming a chains cross-linked by 4,4’-bipy to form two-dimensional layers. (5,6) are constructed by [Mn2(malate)2] sheets cross-linked by 4,4’-bipy to form three- dimensional coordination networks .
