We also found a way to design and to simulate a feed-forward RF power amplifier. To achieve the broadband property, we designed a feedforward system on the basis of loop stability. We then simulated the use of inputs of one-tone and two-tone tests in the band of IS-95 (CDMA) standard. Later, we analyzed the outcomes in both time as well as frequency domains. From the frequency domain up to 88dB, more or less, cancellation of hormonic distortion if achieved after a perfect feedforward linearization of a traditional non-linear RF power amplifier with one-tone testing imput. 88dB cancellation of third-order intermodulation distortion in-band is achieved with two-tone input also. Consideration of the non-linearity of an error amplifier in a feedforward stystem, we obtained the effect of a non-linear error amplifier on cancellation of hormonic distortion in a feedforward system by the variation of the IP3 of error amplification in the simulation, and it can be a reference of designing a feedforward power amplifier. 楊水源 劉智群 2002 學位論文 ; thesis 70 zh-TW |
