The measurement of fluid flow is important field in Microflow sensor. The important applications of a microflow sensor can be found in biomedicine , aerospace , automobile industry and heat exchangers . In recent years , there are many studies to research the phenomenon of heat transfer characteristics in the microchannels .
In this paper , a thermal microflow sensor for gases is presented .We become aware of the influence of wide-high ratio and heat flux in the microflow sensor . Firstly , compute the removal of energy by the fluid flow in the microchannels and it could convert the loss energy into the fluid speed . Secondly , when the buoyancy enhance natural heat convection efficiency and reduce forced heat convection efficiency , it derived the second flow effect in the microchannels. Convert the fluid speed by the second flow effect in the microflow sensor .
The multi-block grid system is constructed by a commercial code, CFX-F3D. In order to simulate the complicate fluid flow in the microflow sensor, a multi-block, three-dimensional Navier-Stokes commercial solver, CFX 4.1C. Analysis the result we use the commercial code Tecplot and Fieldview.
