碩士 === 元智大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 89 === Object-Oriented Network Virtual World (OONVW) architecture constructs an Internet Client/Server Virtual World to simulate all objects of real world based on Component Object Model (COM) technique proposed by Microsoft(tm). In this paper, introduce a concept to make connection of real world objects and Virtual World objects base on COM interface methodology.
In the Virtual World, all objects are controlled by components management system. Without any constrain and assumption is added in components management system, the Virtual World's environment is total free because objects and interfaces are flexibly developed at run time.
In network virtual world model, "VIEW" mechanism is used to realize network synchronized. User's (Client) view is mapped to proper region of Virtual World System (Server), all the objects and events are under component behavior control system. That means, as all user’ view region are synchronized, the whole network virtual world is synchronized.
