It is shown that the polymerization method applied can affect the distribution of particle sizes. The mono-dispersed particle can be obtained with the use of polyvinyl-pyrrolidone (PVP) stabilizer. Additionally, the size of polymer particles is dependent on the molecular weight of PVP. The mixture of PVP with different molecular weights can also be applied to prepare mono-dispersed polymer particles.
