Description
Summary:碩士 === 大同大學 === 資訊工程研究所 === 89 === With the advent of new information technology, social structure has made a substantial change. Traditional enterprises have to create more valuable processes and reduce their operational cost in order to survive in this drastically competitive environment. Business Process Reengineering has become the most possible and better solution for the enterprise re-construction. By reengineering their business processes, traditional enterprises can achieve the goal of increasing efficiency and decreasing cost. Moreover, with advances of simulation technology, business process simulation offers the decision makers a visual, statistical analysis result of dynamic simulation to reduce the risk of process reengineering decision making. This thesis describes a simulation analysis example of our case study of cross-factory processes integration. We use SES/workbench simulation software to model the integration case and compare the simulation results before and after reengineering. This demonstrated the feasibility and ability of modeling and simulation technique to assist in business process reengineering.
