Yet many applied obstacles within the discipline of wireless computing are yet to be resolved, the most popular issue is the speed of data retrieval, which directly affects the performance of mobile database applications. To remedy this problem, we aim to propose a revised methodology focusing on the total management of mobile transaction. This thesis investigates an extended semantic-based transaction management mechanism and applies a model-based approach for developing a simulation model and case study, through which, we study the transaction management and the possible constraints of developing application systems in a mobile computing environment. As such, an all-rounded framework could be established for developing a complete methodology for semantic-based transaction management to remedy the issue of shared data delay in remote transmission.
