Description
Summary:碩士 === 大同大學 === 工業設計研究所 === 89 === Abstract Product designers and developers always get the message transformed from the product and get use of that to develop a successful product. Make a survey on products’ images always through observing the real products, but it costs a lot and is limited by the time and places. The virtual reality let the real products be viewed via Internet recently, which gets rid of the limitation of time and space and increase the varieties of subjects’ background. This research studies the differences of the same products’ images when consumers conduct the experiment in real environment or virtual reality to conclude the advantages and disadvantages of the applications on image tests and the limited conditions on applications. The research studies the current situation of virtual reality first and the investigation way. And then select the samples for experiment, and choose desk clocks as the tested samples. Make cluster analysis on the sieved samples and get the characters of samples. Take the representative samples to establish QTVR model and make survey on products’ images to understand the differences on the images of real products and models. At first, understand if there is interaction between virtual images and real samples via “Multivariate Analysis of Variance” as making image tests owing to different experiment orders or displaying ways. And prove the possibilities of virtual images replace real samples as well as study the possible limitations on the applications. The final result is that the difference of the virtual samples and real products of desk clocks only results from too much difference on the sizes of real products and virtual objects. On the other words, get rid of this factor and make image tests under the limitation of this condition via virtual reality, which can avoid the limitation of time and place and the disadvantages of current image tests, wasting time and energy. Besides, provide effective information to the designers on time by connecting the on-line database to connect design and users more closely.
