The large volume of duplicity, and interactive and rapid transmission are impacting the way how people get known with the world. It changes so fast that it produces uncontrolled and uneasy feelings.
“Liberal” is a kind of author’s spiritual reaction to the distrust and unstability of the virtual world when he lives in the real world.“Liberal ” is what the author felt during the period when staying in Wu-Shan-To. “Liberal “ means that the object exists respectively without merging with others or that it separates from the matrix. Applied in the architect creation, it is a kind of resistance in inner heart, developing from the drastic shift of the outer space, trying to explicate the inner state of the heart. It is a kind of uneasy and unstable state.
Hereby I try to use “Liberal ” as a basic concept, through the transformation and examination of object, search for the element in architect space and creation to proceed the construction of my own .I deem the operation as a test, starting with photography, to build my own concept of aesthetic space.
In my work I make an attempt to exploit concrete substance(plastic roofing board), suspending in the open space ,yielding the effect of float and unstablity, to reflect the relation between real and virtual world. Then I utilize its penetrating feature of this kind of material to form a void atmosphere.
