The participants of this study were track and field coaches from public elementary schools in Taipei County. ‘Work Values Inventory” and “Organization Commitment Inventory” were constructed to collect data. Both inventories were tested and meet the psychometric requirement. Of the 384 coaches surveyed, 334 were valid and thus retain for analysis. The results follow: 1. The subscale of Work Values Inventory were ranked from highest to lowest, by the track and field coaches in the following order: “interpersonal interaction”, “achievement and reputation”, “development and Innovation”, “work environment”, and “security and welfare”. 2. The subscale of Organization Commitments Inventory were ranked from highest to lowest, by the track and field coaches in the following order: “motivation to succeed”, “recognition by the organization”, and “tendency to retain position”. 3. The variables that affected the Work Value of track and field coaches of different backgrounds include “type of coach”, “seniority of training”, “educational background”, and “present position”. 4. The variables that affected the Organization Commitment of track and field coaches of different backgrounds include “age”, “type of coach”, “seniority of training”, and “present position”. 5. Work Value of track and field coach in the elementary school is positively correlated with their Organization Commitment. Finally, the implications of the study with respect to “Organizations of Educational Administration”, “Elementary School Administration”, “Track and Field Coaches”, and “Related Research In the Future” are proposed.
