The numerical method is to use an explicit finite difference scheme for solving nonlinear dynamic wave and concentration routing problem. Compare the analytical solution with the numerical solution, two methods can obtain good approximations each other. Both methods are applied to a regular channel or a natural channel. Because the linearized analytical solution can obtain good approximation efficiently and economically, it will be a good approach in civil and environmental engineering.
