Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 材料及資源工程系碩士班 === 89 === The river sand in Lan-Yan River, I-lan, Taiwan, and the manufactured sand from the Szu-Leng sandstone in Yuan-San , I-lan, were used as fine aggregate for this study. The manufactured sand was crushed and processed by the Chin-Chen company .The study was concentrated on the comparisons of physical properties, compressive strength and workability between these two types of sand. Based on concrete theory, the laboratory tests on sand were performed at a variety of water/cement ratio (W/C) to obtain their results concerning on compressive strength and workability. It indicated that: (1) the manufactured sand did not contain any impurity, but the river sand did, (2) the compressive strength of manufactured sand was higher under W/C>0.7, especially much stronger when W/C<0.5; however, worse workability accompanying with manufactured sand .
