Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 技術及職業教育研究所 === 89 === The purposes of this research were to investigate the current situation of the application of the internet-based remedial instruction of Taipei vocational senior high schools and to study the effects of internet-based remedial instruction on students who failed the subject tests. The review of literature, the survey of questionnaires, the study of quasi-experimental research, and the interview of teachers were used as the research methods. Fifty first-grade students who currently enrolled in Nei-Fu Industrial Senior High School were served as the subjects in this experimental study. They were equally assigned into two groups, the experimental and the control groups, and received a five-week period remedial instruction. Students of experimental groups received internet-based remedial instruction. Students of the control groups received the traditional remedial instruction. The whole experimental process included: pre-test, s-type grouping according to the subjects’ test scores and their willings, post-test, learning satisfaction test and interview with the experimental group members. Meanwhile, total nineteen principals, the directors of the academic office, the chiefs of the instructional section who were from the sampling schools helped to do the questionnaire survey to show their support. Afterwards, all the results of interviews and surveys were analyzed and discussed qualitatively, and all the test scores and satisfaction results were analyzed and discussed statistically by SPSS 8.01. Finally, the conclusions of this research which can be provided for the references of the educational workers and the following researchers are summarized as the following: eleven items, and five suggestions are also presented.
