To define port in order, we will efficiently deal multiple coupled lines. As to the normal-mode parameters matrices, we reduce original 4-ports matrices to 2-ports ones and have 12 possible 2-ports structures. These fundamental 2-port structures can be applied in microwave engineering, as C-section directional and branch-line couplers.
