Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 建築與都市設計研究所 === 89 === Architecture design includes constructing concept and spatial translation. Constructing concept can be internalized as deep structure, also called situation. Space structure is an expression of deep structure. The process of transforming situation into space structure is called spatial translation. This study explores the significance of spatial translation. The research employes methods such as literature review、professional team discussion、case study , etc to analyze concepts of significance abstracted from these materials. Finally, The purpose is to reach the translating principle. The conclusion of this study is that spatial translation proves to be the Generative-Transformational Algorithm resulting from expression of inner significance in human mind. An intention required by expressing inner significance corresponding to the universal conceptual characteristics seeks Isomorphism-concepts and then generate spatial prototype(composing factors)as well as spatial grammar(situational field). Based on spatial grammar, spatial prototype is organized into the conceptual frame of space structure and then formalized into physical materials, from physical surroundings into a spatial model.
