碩士 === 東海大學 === 工業設計學系 === 89 === A great many of the Hans had immigrated into Taiwan around 300 years ago. Han’s custom, technique for making a living, and daily implements brought by them have merged with the local people in Taiwan. The daily implements created by ancestors’ wisdom and skills have particularly become precious traditional handicraft arts.However, because of the change of living and values, the traditional handicraft arts seem indifferent with time. Taiwan Art and Craft Research Institute exerted great efforts to advocate the concepts of “constructing community overall” and “region activation” in 1994. Nowadays with the trend of localization and the policy of 5 working days a weak, local tourism is getting important; it causes local culture and local feature to be valued, too. Nevertheless, old political policy that is carried out the decision according to high class cannot really meets local people’s needs, thus, local people do not have decision-making power at all to accomplish what they think. The research is in the view of the premise. The local craft industry is a “creation” resulted from local time, position, people and affairs. The perception of tracing back to the source of local history, ancestors and living style by local traditional craft industries is a better way to promote the local, such as the concept of “product-acculturated and culture-produced.” However, the movement of “local tourism” and “traditional craft-commercialized” proceeded by the government is apparent these years. Therefore, how to represent local culture successfully by traditional craft with the locals’ spontaneity is mostly the theme for the research. There are the local pottery organization, the “pottery museum”, “Ying-Go vocational high school” and the “pottery old-street” in Ying-Go at present; the most important is the local organization for pottery with spontaneity. Besides, it has been paid much attention to and gained human resources form the government. Those are reasons why the research takes Ying-Go for example. Above all, the research has anticipate contributions as follow: 1. To realize the effects of promoting the region on local area. 2. To discuss the spontaneous action of the locals as planned. 3. To analyze advantages and defects about promoting the region by efforts of the government, scholars and the locals. 4.To discuss how to prompt the spontaneous action promoting traditional craft industries culture on local area. The way of this research to involve local question is various and extensive， therefore to use as “diversification” from to the research of intrinsic quality being the main shaft. From the animating organizations to infer that the residents in Ying-Go have the rather level of education spontaneous thinking，but after interviews、to participate and investigate quantification discover that the residents in Ying-Go have low spontaneous and limited in local history and culture，furthermore the tourists on weekends have the same question. Those phenomenons to have relations with the system mode select mode in pass time. How to release Ying-Go’s brilliant rays by the residents? From abover to guide belower is a suitable way，because of this can let the residents to hold the rights in the brilliant rays.If Ying-Go to proceed the way to educate、to practice and spread out，than the culture of living indigenous have to reveal.
