From the methanolic extracts of the flower for Erythrina crista-galli Linn. afforded 8-oxoerythrinine （A） 、 crystamidine （B） 、 erythraline （C） 、 erytharbine （D） 、 erysotramidine （E） 、 erysotrine （F） 、 phytosterols （G） 、β-sitosterol （H） 、 long chain ester of ferulic acid （I）. The structure of these compounds were identified by spectrometric and chemical methods.
Among the above compounds , erytharbine（D）and erysotramidine （E）were isolated for the first time from the plant.
