碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 政治學研究所碩士在職專班 === 89 === Privatization or commercialization of National Meteorological Services is the tendency in terms of government restructure project.In this study，the feasibility of privatization or commercialization of Central Weather Bureau in Taiwan is assessed by examining：１、the economic development and societal needs；２、occurrence frequency of meteorological disasters and damages；３、current science and technology development of Meteorology；４、government system and related law and reguation；and ５、availability of well-trained people.The results seem to suggest that there is plenty room for private sectors of meteorological services to develop.
