(ASTERACEAE). Among them , compound 6 was isolated for the first time from natural source . The structural elucidation of these natural products were established by spectroscopic and chemical methods . Biological evaluation showed that compound 6 and compound 8 demonstrated cytotoxicity against human cervix epithelioid carcinoma(HeLa), human colon adenocarcinoma(DLD-1), human oral epidermoid carcinoma(KB), human lung large cell carcinoma(NCI)and mouse hepatoma (Hepa) . Moreover compound 8 was demonstrated to exhibit the inhibition of DNA Topoisomerase Ⅰ .As to the bioassay of NO activity of the compound 8 is currently under investigation .
