Thus, we’d need an appropriate managing system when we update and expand its structure. Through the network migration that took place in our department we concluded a technological process/procedure, which can provide all personnel some reference when planning campus network migrations. This procedure includes an investigation on present environments, an analysis of requirements, setting managing policies and the constructing of web-based IP control system. Managing policies are formulated according to the network environment in campuses, while hardware and the constructing of network architecture is based on actual problems of the network.in our department. We used Lotus Notes Domino to create a Web-based ”IP managing system”, which is in charge of collecting data and sorting out information relating to user, room, equipment so it can offer managing personnel effective data.
