Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 機械工程系 === 89 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the building procedure of the Model Maker (MM) and to develop new building methods to accelerate the part making speed. The part interior filling does not affect the part accuracy very much but it does significantly affect the MM fabrication speed. Hence, a new building method for reducing fabrication time with the decrease of the interior filling paths is proposed in this study. In order to help MM’s users to get the high-efficiency building process easily, an auxiliary program is developed to combine the adaptive slicing method with the new building method. The experiment results show that 80% green wax fabrication time reduction can be achieved using this auxiliary program.
The other topic of this study is the path planning of the Multi-Jet System. In this research, a shell embedded layer forming path is developed according to the system’s characteristic. The experiment results show that the shell embeded layer forming path is more efficient then other RP process.
