But the behaviors of Electronic Commerce (so called EC) yield a gap between managers and information processors. To tackle the problem, we propose a Frame-based Information Platform of EC which can reduce the gap by using frame descriptions to represent information requirements. The other problem is that there is no general conceptual model for workflow management systems, like as relational data model for most of database management systems. So, we propose an Extended Petri Nets to define the general conceptual model for workflow management systems and thus at the same time, we design an evaluative model in the e-purchase flow to evaluate decision quality. In this thesis, we make an example EC purchase system to illustrate “how to use Extended Frame Modules to express system requirements and transfer to Extended Petri Nets.” We also take the Extended Petri Nets to form the general conceptual model for workflow management systems and design an evaluative model of Grey Relational Grade for decision making about e-purchase. Then, we can actually reduce the problem of uncertainty and enhance the process of decision making. Finally, we discuss the rationality for using Grey Relational Grade in e-purchase decision process.
