Mission effectiveness is defined as a combined measure of system availability at each task-arrival time and system reliability during the task-execution interval. Mission effectiveness measures the interaction between the system performance subject to random failure and repair and the random task-arriving process. An analytical model is derived under a general set of assumptions. Effects of the system failure and repair rates, task arrival rate and task execution time length on the mission effectiveness are studied. 楊維寧 2001 學位論文 ; thesis 42 zh-TW
