Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 資訊管理系 === 89 === A stochastic model for mission effectiveness is developed for a system which receives a stream of tasks arriving according to some random processes. Mission effectiveness is defined as a combined measure of system availability at each task-arrival time and system reliability during the task-execution interval. Mission effectiveness measures the interaction between the system performance subject to random failure and repair and the random task-arriving process. An analytical model is derived under a general set of assumptions. Effects of the system failure and repair rates, task arrival rate and task execution time length on the mission effectiveness are studied.
