Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 機械工程學研究所 === 89 === Experimental results are presented of the behavior of droplets, falling or rising in immiscible liquids at Reynolds numbers ranging from 0.02~2200. Four liquids: n-Heptane(C7H16), n-Dodecane(C12H26), n-Hexdecane(C16H34), and water, were used as dispersed and continuous phases respectively. By measuring the terminal velocity of droplets, we can yield the graph of the Drag Coefficient verses Reynolds number. We will also discuss the influence of the internal circulation, deformation, and oscillation of droplets on the trend of the graph.
